Join us at our very first TEDxRiceU Salon of the year on Oct 18th from 7:30-8:30pm at Farnsworth Pavilion! During this 1-hour, chill and engaging salon, we will delve into the awe-inspiring wonders of space and the profound context of science by hosting two brilliant live speakers and watching some TED videos together. The two speakers and their proposed speech titles are:

"The Cosmic Solitude: Enigma of Alien Life" by Ali Khokhar, student at Rice
"Combatting Science Denial with Science Education Reform" by Dr. John Hutchinson, Professor of Chemistry at Rice
There will be Q&A sessions with the speakers and opportunities for you to dive deeper into the topics that intrigue you. Plus, we will provide free food as you engage in inspiring conversations with fellow attendees!

Everyone is welcomed! If you are a space-lover, you don't want to miss this event!

Join us for an unforgettable evening under the stars of knowledge and inspiration.
