Hi, I’m, Irene Fu a 9th-grader from Pleasanton, California with a deep passion for music. A decade ago, I started piano, the instrument that opened many doors to musical opportunities and introduced me to its incredible psychological/sentimental effects. Since then, I’ve set foot onto many stages, spreading music to communities through concerts, competitions, and gatherings. Beyond music, I’m an avid writer and speaker. I have been involved with my school's magazine publications since 6th grade and currently serve as an assistant editor for my high school's journalism publication, The Roar. I also have more than 3 years of experience on my school's Speech and Debate team, with national rankings in Public Forum Debate & Speech during my middle school years. In her free time, I enjoy song writing, self-studying Korean & German, and indulging in karaoke with her mom’s colleagues.

Muskaan Agrawal

Hi, I'm Muskaan Agrawal, a senior and IB course student at The Quarry Lane School! I'm interested in majoring in finance and working in corporate finance in the future. I’ve participated in various financial competitions and am working on a research paper regarding financial literacy in developing economies. I love dancing, both classical and Bollywood, and I enjoy learning different languages. I am fascinated by the overlap between business and cultural/linguistic evolution which is something I hope to explore more of in the future.

Hi, I’m Verain. I love to bike, swim, walk, paint, and hold conversations. I have a passion for Taekwondo, in which I have a first-dan black belt. I am interested in sustainability and environmental protection I have a particular passion for reading about new green technology, as I hope to one day unveil a product of my own. When I go out for walks with my dog and for bike rides, I make sure to pick up trash. I would love to see the Earth, with all its natural beauty intact, conserved for future generations. Academically, I have recently begun taking a deeper dive into subjects like sociology and business. I love to make connections, personal or professional; meet new people; and learn new things. The only thing that can rival my love for conversation is my love for Bollywood; my favorite thing to do is chill with my friends and family and watch a movie.
