In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Audrey has always believed in everyone having a fair chance in life. In her spare time, Audrey plays on her high school varsity tennis team and volunteers at her local childhood center. Georgia Waldroop is a senior at Belleville High School. She has aspirations as a first-generation college student to go into radiologic technology at Wayne State University. Georgia chose her topic on abortions and women's rights because as a woman herself going into adulthood, she finds it difficult to understand how people want to control what she wants to do with her body. She hopes to invoke passion and change through her talk, bringing her audience an aspect that can be overseen by the government.

Grace Borders is a high school senior that is going to Eastern Michigan University to pursue her love for special education. Her love for special education started early this year when she had the opportunity to work with ASD students. In her adaptive PE and leadership class she spends time to just build bonds with them. After making those connections she realized that this was her passion, leading her to look more into autism as whole. And everything she found out about with the education system was not all great.
