Theme: The power of the youth

The event will have 6 speakers who will share to our community how they got to where they are nowadays and in various contexts and areas. The event is the first TEDxYouth in the Northeast of Brazil to be completely organized by high school students and young liders, and have the youth as protagonists of such an event.

André Gress

Actor + Director + CEO of a musical theatre school

Among the shows he has directed, he includes great titles such as; "Avenida Q - The Broadway Musical" (2015/2016); "The Hour of the Star - The Musical"; "Godspell - The Broadway Musical" (2018) and "RENT - The Broadway Musical" (2019). He recently signed the direction of Carlinhos Brown's musical show, "Paxuá e Paramim e o Novo Planeta Azulinho" (2022). Currently, he represents the international organization Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) in Brazil, as National Director, creating a branch of the organization in the country; the Broadway Dreams Foundation Brasil. In 2014, he was the first international candidate chosen to participate in the Broadway Dreams Foundation training program, serving as associate director to Broadway veterans. Gress is also the CEO of The Biz Performing Arts, a musical theater themed school that provides training for youth and adults through creating experiences in licensed Broadway shows and arts education productions.

Cezário Victor Diógenes

Current student of Law

Graduating in Law at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), monitor of the Law course, in addition to contributing to research. Former student of Colégio 7 de Setembro, graduating from the class of 2019, he was a finalist 4 times in the ONHB (Brazilian National History Olympiad) during his time as a student, reflecting his efforts by winning bronze, silver and gold medals.

Jussiê Cunha

Sports Journalist

Jussiê Cunha is not only a coordinator and participant in Futebolês, on radio, television and on the Internet, a symbol of Ceará journalism. Jussiê is also part of TV Jangadeiro, representing entertainment and information.

Moisés Loureiro

Comedian + Screenwriter + Actor + Publicist

Moisés Loureiro is a screenwriter, actor, comedian and publicist for Cinema, TV and Theater. With his understanding of the area, he organized and performed in the first improvisation show in the Northeast, entitled "Rimprovizando", in addition to writing and participating in the series "La Casa Duz Vetin" and directing, to this day, the podcast "Será que Presta ?” In 2017, he won one of the biggest comedy competitions in Brazil, "Quem Chega Lá", created and organized by Rede Globo. Not only that, but in the same year he received the Carlos Câmara Trophy, beginning his participation in the largest comedy network in the world - Comedy Central.

Samyle Pinheiro

ITA Student + NASA's Citizen Scientist

An ITA student, considered a Citizen Scientist by NASA, coming from Capistrano, in the interior of Ceará. Still in her hometown, she had the dream of studying in Fortaleza and, arriving here, Samyle showed the world her skills in astronomical sciences, being awarded 17 times and being internationally recognized.

Socorro Acioli

Author

Journalist and writer from Ceará, author of the novel "A Cabeça do Santo" and children's books such as "O pipoqueiro João" and "She has eyes of heaven." She is a nationally renowned author, with the Jabuti Prize (2013) as her highest award, demonstrating her great creative ability. In 2013, the American version of his work "A cabeça do Santo", "The head of the Saint" was chosen as the best teenage work by the NYPL (New York Public Library) With a doctorate in Literature Studies, Socorro Acioli also builds her career in the educational field, coordinating courses at the University of Fortaleza.
