Clinical Asst. Professor; Florida International
Dr. Adelman is a Clincal Assistant Professor and the Director of Early Childhood Education Programs at Florida International University. Her areas of specialization include: early childhood special education, emotional intelligence, social emotional development, culturally responsive instruction, and working with families from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Adelman has development the WeFEEL Emotional Intelligence and Cultural Responsiveness Approach in partnership with Dr. Daniela Foerch. She has been working in grant-funded research in the area is emotional intelligence for 7 years in collaboration with The Children’s Trust, the A.D. Henderson Foundation, and the Early Learning Coalition.

Professor of Projection and author of Career Projection 101, Clem Harrod, with over twenty years of experience, has helped brand and market Fortune 500 companies and professional athletes through the Live Event Production Industry. He is a graduate of Turner Tech High School's Academy of Entertainment Technology and Florida State University's Media Production Program. He's the Founder of CLEMCO, coaching freelancers and entrepreneurs to become business owners. Before CLEMCO, Clem had a 15-year career in sports broadcasting, working on major live events like the College Football National Championship, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals, and the Superbowl. Clem uses his experience in high-pressure environments to speak on leadership, perseverance, networking, and leveraging technology to enhance personal and professional brands. Serving on several university and non-profit boards, Clem shares his Projection 101 mindset to inspire others to See, Believe, and Achieve their dreams.

Daniela Foerch

Dr. Daniela Fenu Foerch is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Researcher of Early Childhood Education in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education within the School of Education and Human Development at Florida International University. Daniela has experience teaching face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online courses using different platforms. She is the Graduate Program Director of the Early Childhood Program Her research focuses on nurturing Emotional Intelligence in young children. Daniela is active in program and curriculum development. Daniela has presented her research to the local, national, and international communities and published several articles in the area of early childhood education. Aside from her teaching and research, Daniela serves as the Principal Investigator for the WeFEEL Emotional Intelligence Program at FIU. In 2022, Daniela published a children’s book titled The Colors of My Emotions, which focuses on fostering Emotional Intelligence in children 3 to 7.

She later obtained a Bachelors in Marketing from the University of Phoenix, Masters of Science in Entertainment Business, Masters of Arts in Public Relations from Full Sail University, and a Masters of Education and Social Change from the University of Miami. Starting as a Language Arts teacher for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, she's worked as a grade level chair and conducted professional development. Currently, she teaches US and World History at William H. Turner Technical High School, focusing on fostering curiosity and responsible citizenship in students.

Kwamara also sits on the board of numerous organizations, including iHeart Media Advisory Board and the Black Information Network, where she helps organizations think through their educational and racial justice initiatives.

Lourdes Ubeda

Student and Compassion Builder
Lourdes "Lulu" Ubeda, a sophomore at William H. Turner Technical Arts High School, displays exceptional prowess in the Academy of Medical Science. Intent on becoming a general surgeon, she targets esteemed universities like Johns Hopkins or Harvard for her higher education. Ms. Ubeda's leadership qualities are demonstrated in her roles within the Key Club, serving as class director and later secretary. Furthermore, she participates in the Chess Club and secured second place in a public speaking competition for the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) within her district. An intentionally compassionate individual, Lulu extends her dedication to her community. Her efforts are channeled towards peer tutoring and supporting vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, young children, and those experiencing homelessness.
