In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aaditya Ganesan

Student. Friend. Brother. Innovator. Do those words define Aaditya? Do they determine his fate? He has often questioned who he really is. He is an incoming freshman at New York University's Stern School of Business for Business and Political Economy. Throughout high school, he started a 501c3 (Educationist Tutoring), served as captain of the debate team and created a website expressing his love for comics. Furthermore, he wrote a book (Smiling with the Pain), describing his experience following a fatal motor accident. Following that traumatic experience, he knew he did not die for a reason and that his time is not up yet!

Lopamudra Mohanty

Lopamudra Mohanty is the founder of BBW Education Pvt. Ltd. She is a storyteller, entrepreneur, educator and Indian language crusader. After a decade-long banking career, she began a mission to save endangered Indian languages, and cultivate a family reading culture in the country. She recently started a venture- Cheers2Bhasha, an online platform that specialises in teaching Indian languages, translating children's stories and acts as a repository of regional stories for future generations to enjoy. Her goal is to create a forum that promotes conversations about endangered Indian languages, through Indian language storytelling-preventing their extinction.

Shivani Shrotri

Shivani Shrotri is a high school senior at Ecole Mondiale World School who intends to major in Psychology. Throughout high school, she has focused on adapting and updating educational paradigms in inaccessible regions through her organizations Gen. Z Codes and Avaz. Her goal is to work in pedagogy, to research, design and implement policies for an equitable education that fosters the same zeal and curiosity that she experiences towards learning.

Vishaal Rasquinha

Vishaal wanted to serve the nation by joining the armed forces. However, due to medical reasons, he could not work towards it and instead steered towards public speaking. During his early college days, he was awarded Maharashtra's Best Elocutionist for two consecutive years by the Government of Maharashtra. In degree college, he was an emcee at college festivals before eventually pivoting into luxury Indian weddings. Owing to his charming stage presence and energy on stage, he was awarded India's best wedding emcee three years in a row by Weddingsutra, India's biggest wedding portal. After performing in close to 25 countries and counting, his dream is to take India and its essence to Indians across the globe.
