In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

The rebel in him was budding, and Santanu wanted a medium to express that. He was a misfit in this chaotic world with uncertainty. He discovered comics and liked them instantly for their unique way of storytelling. He had found his language. He started learning the alphabet of this new language by mimicking the comic book style. He soon started selling his artwork to his fellow students to earn a few bucks to buy chips and candies. In his teenage years, he found a group of other misfits. They were metal musicians, a genre Santanu liked very much. He had now found his niche. He started illustrating for those metal music bands and started to communicate. He had entered his second phase, where he formed sentences of this language in the form of album artwork.
