A new kind of TEDx event!
The idea for TEDxLive grew out of a question we at TED were asking ourselves: What would happen if we made the TED Conference more open, its impact more immediate and tangibly global? What would happen if communities around the world gathered to engage with -- and build on -- the TED Conference experience while it happened live?
This event is independently organized and has not been funded by anyone in anyway... Except some sweat equity on behalf of the organizers. If you feel like bringing a dish or drinks, we’ll call it a potluck. Otherwise, no expectations of any kind. This is a free event!
When:
Next Wednesday (2/29/2012)
and Next Thursday (3/1/2012)
Times: 7pm-10pm (each day)
(Stop by for one day or both... TED talks are less than 20min so you can slip in and out as you please. FYI-Street parking only)

TEDxLive is an extension of the TEDx program, launched by TED in 2010. TEDxLive events are TEDx events built around the live webcast of TED Conferences. TEDxLive events enable TED enthusiasts all over the world to experience live sessions of the TED Conference; events can be simple viewing events, and may also host live speakers.
