In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Albert Yumol

Machine Learning Engineer and Data Solutions Practitioner.
Mr. Albert Yumol is a Senior Data Scientist at ING Nederland who specializes in data, its architecture, and its human aspect (ethics) and applies concepts in mathematics, statistics, and physics in conjunction with programming tools to understand complex dynamics of data. Albert teaches data science in a bootcamp company based in the Philippines called Eskwelabs and spearheads a curriculum on data ethics and human centered design.

Aldrin Licayan

Aldrin Licayan is currently an operating theater nurse based in Ireland. He is also a travel and lifestyle coordinator and is the Founder and CEO of Tech for the Filipino Youth organization.

Arizza Nocum

Co-Founder and President of KRIS
Arizza is also one of ten young leaders hand-picked by the former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan to eradicate violent extremism through the Extremely Together initiative. The Extremely Together initiative has produced an online counter-extremism toolkit to help educators, religious leaders, and community champions in promoting the prevention of violent extremism. For her work, Arizza was awarded as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines, one of five global recipients of Zonta International's Young Women for Public Affairs Award, and is one of the youngest nominees to the list of 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World.

Beatriz Gonzales

Mental Health advocate, writer, and artist
Beatriz is a writer, artist, and mental health advocate who has dedicated her life to helping end the stigma around mental illness through her own experiences for people who continue to suffer in silence. With that, she has had various interviews and features in publications and media outlets that centered around her own struggles with Depression, Anxiety, and Bipolar II Disorder and her goal to make people knowledgeable about the importance of mental health. Today, she continues her battle against mental illnesses together with support from her loved ones and hopes to inspire others to continue fighting theirs.
