About this event

Stop violence, live a righteous life!
The organizers` intentions were to bring into the public eye the real problems associated with violent acts, as a result of the community shattering case of Sergiu Ardelean, and on the other hand, to hard-edge a positive fact, by presenting an extraordinary technological project devised and designed by a team of Romanian students participating in the 2012 Solar Decathlon.

  • Gratiela Maria Tutu Anghelus
    Participating to different training programs like Train the Trainers, Lobby and Advocacy, Pioneer program for leaders, she is definitely a people` s person. Very experienced social worker and HIV/AIDS counsellor, she made good use of her experience while designing and implementing public awareness campaigns and in building alliances and networks with international and national governmental and non-governmental actors and independent experts. Gratiela Maria Anghelus will be joining TEDxYouth to share her experience end expertise.
  • Mihai Toader Pasti
    Mihai Toader-Pasti is Student Team Leader PRISPA, the first Romanian team ever to participate at Solar Decathlon 2012, the most important competition worldwide to design, build, and operate solar-powered houses that are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and attractive. Placed 9th among the participating teams, PRISPA has been recognized as blending affordability, consumer appeal, and design excellence with optimal energy production and maximum efficiency. Mihai Toader-Pasti will be joining TEDxYouth to tell the story of this adventure.
  • Erika Moldovan
    With a university degree obtained at Babes Bolyai from Cluj Napoca she started to work 15 years ago in Targu Mures penitentiary as a principal psychologist and counselor with the Wright of free practice in the field of defense, public order and national security. Her daily work is confronting with different issues regarding juvenile delinquency.
