In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

She was awarded joint international scholarship by Rio Tinto Group and Oyu Tolgoi LLC. Since 2017, Chimedyudon has been working for the Concentrator Technical Services Department of Oyu Tolgoi LLC.

Deirdré Lingenfelder

Deirdré Lingenfelder joined Rio Tinto in 2017 as the Vice President for Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Communities, Copper Group and joined Oyu Tolgoi LLC as the CEO in 2022. Prior to Rio Tinto, Deirdré worked in diverse global leadership roles in Anglo American and De Beers and held various leadership and Board-level roles. She has over 20 years of experience in sustainability and operational leadership within the multi-commodity mining and industrial sectors.

A mathematician by profession, Enkhtuya started her career from the Economic evaluation and resource department of the Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources. She has been working for the mining sector for the last 40 years.

Tuya Oktyabri

Mining engineer

Tuya graduated as a mining processing engineer from the National University of Science and Technology of Mongolia. Since then she has worked in the mining sector for the last 20 years, with 18 years spent at Baganuur JSC.

Uyanga Bold

Geoscientist

Uyanga graduated from the National University of Science and Technology of Mongolia majoring in Geological mapping. In 2016, she earned Ph.D. degree in Earth Sciences from the Harvard University.
