Theme: Sharing ideas that unleash potential

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Mwangala is a 15-year old inventor and advocate for social change. She advocates for freedom on social media for young women and girls. Her most notable invention is a Solar Water Purifier which won her the Best inventor award at the POWER PUFF GIRL AWARDS She is also a brand ambassador of the Zambian National STEM foundation.

Mwiza Bwali is a prolific Zambian Political Scientist, International Relations Expert, Author, Blogger and editor in chief @mwizabwali.com. He is also the founder of House of Democracy. A Multi-Sectoral Non Profit Organization founded and established in 2020 with focus on the community and politics to contribute to the consolidation of Democracy and Human Rights in Zambia
