Ajit Nawalkha

Ajit's background is in business strategy, marketing and outsourcing. Ajit became an entrepreneur-in-residence at Mindvalley in 2010 when he set up Mindvalley's printing division in India. Now he spearheads 6 different Mindvalley ventures. This includes projects that is to organize an entire industry to one platform, to building applications which sit on the facebook platform and help meet business objectives. Currently he also lead the mobile app initiative of Mindvalley. Ajit has built several companies in the past and is a partner of Mindvalley in 2 different companies. His passion for "creating" great things, has drawn him to be an early entrepreneur, and his passion for technology and living his greatest self, has helped him think up, build and make successful several at any given time. Ajit is also an avid reader and student of life.

Edmond Yap

Educationist, Trainer, Founder of EduNation, Certified NLP & Neuro-Semantics Practitioner Edmond cares about growing Malaysian leaders and creating a positive change to the way Malaysians educate themselves. It's behind everything that he does. It's why he holds corporate training and coaching to empower people in their journey through their careers, it's why he is putting the entire Malaysian school syllabus into YouTube videos and exercises to be given out for students of all ages for free and creating the worlds first social media platform dedicated to education. Edmond earned his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He left engineering, a career of 5 years, to pursue a life long dedication for educating people since 2008. He brought it to himself to use whatever means necessary, from training and coaching to using education technology to empower people of all ages to find and achieve the success they deserve. Culminating in the set-up of EduNation, a non-profit education initiative. When it comes to corporate training, he's a specialist trainer in sales, public speaking, human relations and communications. He loves what he does and that is especially evident inside Edmond's fun and engaging training and coaching sessions.

Dr. Geshina Ayu Mat Saat

Criminologist, Psychologist, Researcher After completing her B.HSc in Psychology and MHSc in Industrial Psychology from the International Islamic University of Malaysia, the Australian-born Malay pursued an second master's degree in Applied Criminology at the University of Leicester. She then proceeded to obtain a PhD in Criminology at the University of Loughborough; placing her among the ranks of the leading criminologists in the country. She is currently a lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia, and has worked as a consultant and researcher in Malaysia as well Britain over the years. Geshina is a member of the International Association for the Treatment of Sexual Offenders (IATSO) and the Malaysian Forensic Science Society. She has consulted for several corporations and organizations including UNICEF, Bank Negara, the Royal Malaysian Police, Petronas and many others, and has had her work featured on The Malay Mail, The Star, Utusan Malaysia and their likes. She is highly motivated towards leading strategic organizational and institutional initiatives, and enhancing lives as a criminologist, psychologist, researcher, author, and trainer.

Elya Lim Abdullah

Elya Adnan is the founder, shareholder and Managing Director of Elya Impressions Sdn Bhd having which she started as a hobby in 1983 and, since then, has turned into one of the leading companies in interior construction industry. She has a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Monash University, Melborne, Australia, and has worked as a microbiologist for several years. Apart from her own company, Elya is also heavily involved with 2 notable Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs); OrphanCare and Viva Palestina Malaysia. OrphanCare is a non-profit NGO established in 2008 with the mission of giving every orphan and abandoned baby a chance to have a family and home. Elya is Head of Government Relations and coordinates and liases with the JKM (Welfare Department). Being a founding member of OrphanCare, she is now one of the Trustees of OrphanCare. OrphanCare was founded by her late husband, Dato Mohd Adnan Mohd Tahir in 2008. OrphanCare was launched in 2009, the Baby Hatch unveiled and opened in 2010. Viva Palestina Malaysia (VPM), like many similar NGOs, aim to advocate for a just, equitable, prompt and sustainable resolution of the conflict in Palestine, leading to the creation of a free and independent state of Palestine. Elya is a founding member of VPM, involving mainly in Government Relations. She entered Gaza together with the convoy in July 2012, on a humanitarian mission with other members of VPM.

Dr. PS Daram

PhD. Mechanical Engineer, Innovator The Course Leader PS Daram, started off his career as a temporary teacher who then made a major shift into Mechanical Engineering field and later pursed professional qualifications in Industrial Engineering. He has served large US multinational companies both as a Technical and Management Trainer and has held senior positions in the last 20 years. He is known as an expertise in machines as he has 15 years of machine experience since he first joined Photonics Company. He has a Masters in Business Management majoring in Organizational Behaviour and Operations Management and a PhD in Human Capital Management, both completed at University of Bath, United Kingdom. His areas of specialty are in Organizational Methods, Competency Management, and Productivity Improvement. He is a man who holds up to "Reduce Time Improve Productivity" quote which has led him to be a creative person in modifying machines for better production. He has carried out a research at Open University Malaysia(OUM) entitled "What makes a person competent?" as he believes to be successful; one has to be competent. He currently conducts and trains both technical and management staff of Qatar Petroleum in Executive Development programs and lectures at a number of local universities on Operations Management.

Sam Gibbs

He is a native of Australia but was educated in the UK and the US. Sam studied electronic trades whilst working as an Audio Visual Technical Officer at The University of Sydney. After 5 years with the University of Sydney he moved into the marine industry and sailed as crew, officer and captain. Sam’s professional marine expertise provides an excellent base of experience for project management, business development, engineering, team dynamics, leadership and safety. Sam decided on a career change in 2000 to follow his lifelong passion and interest in teaching science. As a special millennium project he developed and inaugurated one of the world’s first interactive mobile planetariums and celestial observatories that were used extensively in the Alps Maritimes area of France. Since then he has been responsible for developing aerospace and science education programs and exhibitions in Malaysia. Some projects that have been initiated by him are the Mars Close Approach and the Centenary of Aviation Exhibitions held at the National Science Centre Kuala Lumpur, and The International Space Settlement Design Competition in conjunction with NASA. During 2007 his company was a key player in supporting the Malaysian astronaut’s mission to the International Space Station. More recently he worked with a team of scientist and engineers from NASA and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. From 2009 to the present day Sam has also focused his efforts in developing and delivering the Aerospace and Science Discovery Camp to schools throughout SE Asia. This is has been a pioneering effort to raise awareness of the importance of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics with students of all ages nationwide. Sam is a dedicated teacher and is able to communicate clearly with young and old alike on a broad range of topics concerning the world of the sciences, technology and engineering. During his time in Malaysia he has personally delivered science education and special awareness programs to more than 100,000 students at an estimated 300 schools nationwide. His vested interest in teaching comes from a firm belief that education in the sciences should begin at an early age and provide the catalyst for a lifelong adherence to the same. He feels that the future security of humanity and earth’s environment will come from a world community who has mastered science and technology. He says “What is learned in youth is carved in stone.”
