In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Amanda Green

Hi, my name is Amanda Green, and I am enthusiastic about life. I have the wonderful pleasure of being a mom to a little guy named Sebastian and a sweet angel named Sasha. I aim to leave each person I met better than I met them by finding a way to brighten their day. I am passionate about empowering, encouraging, and inspiring people to live their life out loud. I am a recent graduate of Wiregrass Georgia Techincal College for the Esthetics Program and a fully licensed Esthetician from Georgia. My life intends to help change the current narrative of brown and black women, which tells us there is only one type of luxury in our life. I aim to create a safe space for women of color to fully relax and recharge themselves in the form of self-care when visiting my spa, The Goddess Life Skin Bar. Life is meant to be lived, good food is meant to be enjoyed; the world is meant to be seen, great laughs are meant to be had, and one should never feel less than for wanting the best for their life.
