On December 13 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, TEDxKTH comes together once again to celebrate Lucia, to socialise and to listen to some great talks. Join us live in Kista or by video feed at Kårhuset on the KTH main campus. This time around we look at how advances in Information and Communication Technology are changing our everyday lives — sometimes in hardly noticeable increments and sometimes in leaps and bounds.

For too long, technology has dictated the rules, forcing us to adapt to complex, engineered systems. The latest incarnation of ICT promises to return power to the users, allowing us to create personalised systems that adjust to our needs with transparent technology. But we’ve heard this song before. Will that promise finally be met?

So come hear from four inspiring speakers who will give their perspectives on how they see ICT changing lives. And bring your own thoughts and reflections to the discussions as well.

And perhaps most important, come help lighten the December darkness with ideas, warmth and kindness.
