It's time to meet again in-person. Join TEDxCanberra for a special celebration as we feature highlights from TED's global climate conference, COUNTDOWN, along with young Canberrans who are helping to create a world that is safer, cleaner and fairer for everyone.

COUNTDOWN is a global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action. The goal: To build a better future by cutting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 in the race to a zero-carbon world – a world that is safer, cleaner and fairer for everyone. COUNTDOWN will launch in early October with a special climate-focused TED conference that blends cutting-edge science and actionable ideas with moments of wonder and inspiration.

At this COVIDsafe event, we will screen curated highlights from the global TED conference that best speaks to Canberrans, along with talks and performances from our recent TEDxCanberra 'Flattening the Climate Curve' event.

There will also be live interviews with speakers and small group conversations to delve deeper into the content of the talks.
