Theme: “On the EDGE- Explore, Discover, Grow and Emerge”

IBS-Pune has been receiving several accolades for its performance and has been ranked 7th in Top Private B-Schools in Maharashtra and 12th under the category of Private B-Schools of super-excellence by CSR GHRDC (Global Human Resource Development Center) survey 2020.

As part of our student activity IBS Pune has been hosting TEDx programs for the last couple of years, latest being in 2019. This endeavor has been appreciated greatly and received very well not just by our faculty, staff and students but also by our recruiter partners, corporate internship guides besides our very enviable alumni network.

In continuation of this valued contribution we plan to host yet another edition of TED talks this year called "TEDxIBSPune" on the 15th of August 2021 (virtual mode).

As one of the inspiring and dynamic icons for all age groups, we thought it fit to extend an invite and request you to share with us glimpses of your vast experience and unfold for us your interpretation of the theme “EDGE”. This year's theme is "EDGE” – Explore, Discover, Grow, Emerge.

In her current role as VP, HR at Myntra, she is a part of the leadership team, championing building a people-first culture.

Vinod Bhatia

Former Military Leader & Defence Strategist

Lt Gen Vinod Bhatia, PVSM, AVSM, SM, (Retd) superannuated after 40 years of distinguished service in the Army as the Director General Military Operations (DGMO) most important functionaries of the Army. As the DGMO, he was directly responsible for talks with his counterpart in Pakistan to ensure a sustained ceasefire, a first of its kind and was much appreciated by the National Polity. His advisory skills in the strategic arena have played an inseparable part in designing and implementing numerous policies for the Indian Army. He was instrumental in giving the much-needed focus to capability development and capacity enhancement along our Northern borders and effective management of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and the LC. He has wide-ranging experience in command, staff and instructional appointments, has commanded an Airborne battalion a Mountain Brigade in North Bengal, Infantry Division on the Line of Control in J&K and an operational Corps along the India - China border.
