The TEDxSanaaSalon event was held under the theme "Witty & Wise" on Thursday, 3 September 2020, in the Smart Event Hall.
The event discussed two issues "cybercrimes" and "conscious reading" through previous TEDx talks. Many interested figures attended the event, where they were selected through an online form posted on the social media pages.
The event was based on three talks sessions that showed three TEDx Talks, and then the talks were enriched by talk of the event facilitators. The first session was about "conscious reading" in which Mr. Mohammed Al-Ashwal talked about the importance of conscious reading and the ability of alphabets in crafting the human mind, he also touched upon statistics about reading amongst men and women, as well as the number of books a person should read. Mr. Al-Ashwal concluded his talk by urging youth on non-stop conscious reading.
The second session discussed "Social Engineering". The facilitator of the session, Mr.Fadi Al-Aswadi, spoke about the Cybercrimes and the tricks internet users fall for as anonymous web links and apps, many other things as well.
In the third session, Ms. Nadeen Al-Manswri talked about "Impossible Is Just a Word" that reading has a strong impact on the ability of the individual to find fertile soil in which to cultivate his ideas, and concluded her speech with "Read to be an extraordinary person".
The event included Many discussions and question raised by the audience, as well as some artistic displays and young talents ranging from playing musical instruments such as oud, piano, and guitar, as well as Arabic calligraphy and painting after which TEDxSalonSanaa concluded after a busy day of discussion, creativity, and enthusiasm

He began his journey in the computer field in 2003 as a software engineer, technical writer and founder of Ithraa website. An expert and specialist in information security, he provides lessons on programming topics, especially Android programming, on his YouTube channel. He is currently working as the Head of Application Support at CAC Bank. Was with us as the facilitator of the "cybercrime" session.

Fouad Solomon a 3-years-old pianist, multimedia reactant, has a YouTube channel among my ambitions that I reach the world in the artistic or musical aspect in general. a person who wants to be creative with everything he gets in from playing and so on. Sohaib Sabri a high school student, a pianist about four years ago, I have a YouTube channel where I present a video of my piano playing. Hasan Al-Ashtal Primary Secondary School English Department at Al-Rasheed School Guitar player about three years, I don't take music as a profession I take it as a hobby and as a passion and love it, my goal is to travel to Germany to study architecture. Enas Ahmed my field of chemistry studies, far from my talent. I started painting with makeup about five years ago. I paint with several other materials, such as acrylic, bullets, and dry ice, and I participated in several local exhibitions. I have accounts in Facebook and Insta that I share with my work Class Abdullah.

Jameelah Mohammed A hobbyist for the Arabic calligraphy and I aspire for professionalism. trainer to improve the Arabic Fount Arts, Wareef Academy. Amr Al-Harbi Has been working in the field of calligraphy for more than a year and a half, a university student specializing in administrative information systems, I love the line and i see my well-being. Ahmed Al-Aolaibi studies business administration. He has been specialized in the field of calligraphy for five years. He loves the calligraphy and aspires in the future to learn all kinds of calligraphy and master it. Haroun Al-Salal Engineering Student has worked in marketing for over four years and two years in English teaching. He specializes in Arabic calligraphy with various new styles, such as the Japanese-Arab calligraphy , Al-Ruqaa and Diwani Calligraphy. Hassan Ahmed guitar player, writer of Oriental thoughts, and write about the negative of the inherited society like customs and traditions.

Marcel Tarsh 18-year-old Nay Player He's got a lot of local and international music. Shihab ALzayadi International Business Administration Guitar player and piano, music teacher. Aylol Al-Saqaf Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering A singer who plays guitar and piano instrument sees art as a path to life and happiness. Aseel Al-Sabei Yemeni House of Music and Arts graduated, 4-year experience in music A Yemeni violinist several musical performances, playing on different kinds of musical instruments. He specializes in playing and training violin. Aseel Tarsh High school graduate He has been playing the oud and guitar for almost a year and he likes to sing works in design and graphics.

Mohammed Alashawal

Writer and author
Poet storyteller and painter, with a BA in education, he began writing poetry and short stories and practicing drawing early. He has published three poetry collections, including the volume of "Vertical Emotions", and he has a collection of short stories that have not yet been printed. A member of the story club, and the Yemeni Writers Union. Who was with us as the facilitator of the " conscious reading " session.

Nadin Almansory

Writer
BA in Banking and Financial Sciences, Writer and Facilitator. She has written many articles in magazines such as the electronic magazine (Call to Think). She is currently working in the administration of Al Rasheed Modern Schools. She was with us as the facilitator of the "conscious reading" session.
