The butterfly symbolises transformation and change. During the pandemic, we’ve experienced exactly that. Hence, the theme of our conference is Us & Change; how the pandemic has changed us and how it has shaped our outlook on life.

Aastha Kacha

Space Architect
Aastha is an award winning Space Architect, founder of AAKA Space Architects, TEDx speaker and a philanthropist.She has been appreciated for her contributions in the industry with awards like "Global Icon Award as India's youngest icon in Space Architecture", "Lunar Base Award", and other International and National accolades in design.

Abdurrahman Begovic

Student, Performer
Former student at Newton International Academy and currently aiming for a career in software engineering. However, as an aspiring musician and mathematician, his fondness for music theory and mini marshmallows has piloted his way into becoming lead vocalist and composer for band-to-be Houseparty Therapy.

Ahmed Ali

Student
Ahmed Ali is a Year 11 student at Al-Khor International School and has been firmly involved in Model United Nations (MUN) during the past four years. He has attended multiple MUN conferences as both a delegate and student officer. He has applied his knowledge and experience from MUN by becoming a member of the 2020 cohort of Youth Advocates for Generation Amazing (GA). With GA, Ahmed explores around Qatar the impact that sport can have on social change in a movement known as Football for Development (F4D).

Akshita Manra

Akshita Manra is a former student at Newton International Academy who currently lives in Bahrain. She is an adventure and enthusiast and loves to try out new things such as volunteering. She has participated in a number of Model United Nations Conferences and has represented Qatar in 2016 for the global finals of Destination Imagination, under the flagship of Newton International Academy.

Amna Dahar

Student, Performer
Amna Dahar is a student from Newton International Acadmy. She has been singing since the age of five or even younger. She strived hard to become the singer she is today, as she is proud to say that she is self-taught. She had always veeb passionate with singing because it brings her joy and happiness. Because of her talent, she has participated in two talent shows organized by NIA and won second place this year in the competition.

Andrew Jose

Freelance Journalist
Andrew Jose is a freelance journalist covering Security, Business, the Middle East, and the U.S. His work has appeared in The Daily Caller, International Policy Digest, and the Eastern Herald. Besides journalism, he is a student at Georgetown University's campus overseas in Qatar, set to graduate in 2023. He is pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Foreign Service, with International Economics as a major and Government and Philosophy as minors.

Hamad Al Amari

Comedian, Influencer
Hamad is a Qatari comedian who grew up in Ireland, a rare commodity in this region or anywhere else. Despite the humour, Hamad is quite an intense character with a very serious side, and has a strong desire to teach, help, assist and educate, all common themes in his social commentary. With a broad repertoire, his experience ranges from stand-up comedy (his life’s passion and deepest love!), to being a keen ambassador for children’s charities, cancer awareness and local franchises, VIP corporate events and conferences, and producing online shows.

Lucia Burtnik

Social Innovator, Chief Learning Officer of Eidos Global
Lucia Burtnik is a social innovator passionate about creating a world where more people can enjoy learning. With her team Eidos Global they have been creating learning experiences for learners of all ages all around the world to ensure every person has the skills to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Natalie Magness

Student
Natalie Magness, a Malaysian 17-year-old living in Qatar, is a high achiever. She shares her journey of how a rejection from her dream university, made her realize her unconditional passion and how she then used this to empower others through founding the Qatar Youth Power Conference, an event that garnered support from the nation's biggest celebrities, headlines, and impacted 1200+ students.
