Theme: Wave

This event, planned to be hosted in Cheongna Dalton School in Incheon, South Korea, is designed for, but not limited to, students in high school. The ongoing pandemic of coronavirus has disrupted our daily routine, isolating us from each other physically and mentally. We humans have been so adapted to the same pattern of our daily lives that such a drastic change in our environment created such havoc, a condition which was worsened by the attempt to parallel our previous habits that spread the disease even more. The purpose of this event is to remind ourselves that in these difficult times, we have to restrain ourselves from conforming to the panic state just like boats on the waves do--instead, we should be more flexible in our responses to these types of predicaments(making new waves). The speakers will be expected to implement this concept of “wave” to their talks to share their unique perspectives.

Hello, I’m Sooin Choi. I’m a freshman, new to CDS this year. I have loved in both Vietnam and Malaysia in the past which both I have been influenced by. I have always been a independent person which is why I like individual activities. Yet, I have no problems cooperating with other people as well. I am highly interested in playing sports like volleyball and basketball but am also interested in activities like sketching and dancing. I like thinking about the future as well as dreaming!
