Dongdong Xia

Orthopedic Physician, Postdoctoral of Harvard Medical School
Lecturer of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) in China and director of FLS program of International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF). Young member of Zhejiang Society of Osteoporosis and Bone Mineral Research, expert committee member of Ningbo Osteoporosis Prevention and Treatment Clinical Guidance Center, young member of Ningbo Orthopedic Association. Dr. Xia Dongdong has been engaged in the research of spinal diseases for a long time, committed to the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and related diseases in the elderly. To date, he has obtained eight national invention patents, published more than 10 SCI papers on international journals, presided over and participated in a number of international, national and provincial scientific research projects.

Through more than ten years of unremitting exploration, Sun has added rich historicalinformation for the restoration of ancient social landscape in China's coastal areas. Healso motivated the comprehensive and in-depth study, publicity and protection of Hemudu Culture. Through the excavation of Jingtoushan Site directed by Sun, the origin of local heritageof Hemudu Culture has been preliminarily explored, the chronological framework of Hemudu Culture in Yuyao and Ningbo has been pushed further, and the cultural and historical source of Ningbo has been advanced to more than 8000 years ago, which has greatly promoted the relationship between the development of prehistoric culture in China's coastal areas and the environmental changes in the early and middle Neolithic Age. The academic project makes people realize that Chinese marine culture has a long history as inland culture.

Jiahui Lu

Associate professor (Peiyang Young Scholar), School of New Media and Communication, Tianjin University
Lu received a PhD in Social Psychology from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2018 and worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at the same university from 2018 to 2020. His research focuses on leveraging mobile and social media for social psychology of health, health communication, and health promotion. He has been working on research of crisis and health communication for the epidemic of respiratory infectious diseases. His current projects include the development of mobile-based participatory platforms for early warning of influenza and emerging respiratory infectious diseases, and the use of artificial intelligence to combat health-related misinformation on social media. He has published more than 10 academic articles on reputable scientific journals such as Journal of Medical Internet Research, Computers in Human Behavior, BMC Public Health, and Journal of Health Communication.

Jing Wang

Doctoral supervisor, Sound studies scholar, Sound event planner
Wang Jing focuses on sound and the relation between acoustic perception and life forms. Based on extensive ethnographic fieldworks, she explores values of sound and listening in suggesting new ways of thinking and new ways of co-existence. She calls for reestablishing a relation between human and the environment through listening, bringing a richer spiritual world through the perception of sound, and, building a system of care in the midst of this complex world system. She was the academic curator of“ Savaka” series of "Undercurrent: Reshaping the Power of Asia" in Shanghai Rockbund Art Museum. She created a field recording album "17.8 ℃" with new media artist Deng Yuejun and performed in “The Book of Daughters" tour with all female Australian experimental musicians. She was the sound director of the experimental two-way theater“ Heaven Downwards.”

Associate professor of Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology( SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS), PhD supervisor
Her research direction is the "brain-peripheral" neuroregulation mechanism. She is committed to studying the neural mechanisms of physiological function regulation such as reproductive metabolism from the perspective of integrated physiology, combining physiology and neurobiology, and interdisciplinary. The latest finding is "The superior colliculus-loercus coeruleus neural circuit mediates the regulation of the intensity of defense behavior under pressure stress", which analyzes the neural circuit mechanism of emotional abnormalities under pressure leading to abnormal behaviors. This research provides new research ideas for deepening the understanding of the state of neural circuits under stress and the intervention strategies of related diseases.

Ni has involved in World Bank, UNICEF and ISOCARP study on urban planning many times. He devotes himself to becoming an urban designer with warmth. He ponders that with economic booming, what a city of happiness should be like in modern urban construction. For the children and other groups who need extra care, he thinks, urban designers are supposed to focus on what children's needs are, how they care about children and keep an eye on issues that are not concerned in traditional urban planning and construction. This time, the designer does not work for the elite decision but for choosing children as their teachers and safeguarding their rights in urban planning.

Sun and her team continue to explore the art museum's research on public issues in the contemporary art system, and at the same time conduct art ecological research and creation from the southwest as a regional starting point. In addition to the connection between the art museum and the local area, the international residency program emphasizes the connection between artists and the local area, which also promotes the compatibility and development of local art ecology. She hopes that after entering the museum, the public can not only feel and experience the works in the exhibition hall but also use these functional spaces to achieve greater linkage and communication. In the future, how to look at the role and value of contemporary art museums, how to establish more community connections, and how to focus on the public meaning of the art system will all be the development direction Sun and the team are thinking about.

Wenhua Liang

Liang Wenhua M.D. Deputy Chief Physician, Associate Professor, PhD Supervisor Recipient of NSFC Outstanding Youth Fund, Guangdong Young Pearl River Scholars and Guangdong Outstanding Young Medical Talents. Dr. Liang graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in 2014 and worked at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University in the Department of Thoracic Oncology. Currently, Dr. Liang serves as Assistant Director of Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Health, Deputy Head of Lung Cancer Group at the State Key Laboratory of Respiratory Diseases, Secretary General of the Guangdong Thoracic Disease Society and Chairman of the Immunotherapy Special Committee, Associate Editor of Translational Lung Cancer Research (IF 5.1), and a member of CSCO Youth Committee, Lung Cancer Special Commit- tee and Expert Group on Lung Cancer Guidelines. He mainly engaged in comprehensive diagnosis and treatment, and translational research on lung cancer. Dr. Liang has published more than 130 SCI papers and has presented multiple times at ASCO, ESMO, WCLC and other important international academic conferences, being the first scholar in China to receive awards of all the four major international conferences on lung cancer. Besides, he is also the deputy editor in chief of 5 monographs including "Lung Cancer", and received the 2020 Alibaba DAMO Academy Young Fellow, and as the main completer was awarded the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 2018, and National Innovation Competition Award in 2020.

Professor of Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems, Chinese Academy of Science, Director of Micro-Nano Energy and Sensing Laboratory.
Yang has achieved original and innovative research results with international important influence in micro-nanoenergy and sensing field. The new type wind-driven generator without using any rotation structure invented by him makes it possible to generate electricity from breeze in daily life. In future, it can be integrated with small devices such as smart phones, to generate sustainable electricity from human movements induced wind energy. Also, it can be widely utilized in the densely-populated area, two sides of the railway and natural reserves to scavenge wind energy, where traditional wind-driven generator cannot work well. It is an important invention, which is expected to change the world energy field in future.
