Talvez nunca tenhamos tido tanto conhecimento sobre o planeta e as necessidades humanas. E isso é um paradoxo ao olharmos para 2020, o ano que nos paralisou frente a uma ameaça invisível. Há mais de duas décadas, discutimos sobre o impacto da conectividade global e da digitalização no modo como trabalhamos, vivemos e nos relacionamos. Discutimos sobre novas profissões, jornadas flexíveis de trabalho e educação a distância. Discutimos sobre a possibilidade e desafios da presença digital.
Mas aconteceu da noite para o dia. E as bases que vínhamos construindo para pensar outras dinâmicas de ser e estar no mundo pareciam não sustentar o momento.

Quem era você em 2019 e quanto tempo você tinha? Quanto tempo você tem agora? Qual o tempo que vive em nós, hoje?

Questões dessa natureza são caras à mitologia grega, que nunca reduziu o tempo a uma ideia meramente cronológica. Se Khrónos é este tempo físico, contínuo, linear, compreendido por números e totalmente mensurável, Kairós é diferente. Ele, de alguma forma, nos liberta do tic-tac do relógio. É um tempo oportuno, indeterminado, relacionado à sua qualidade e às memórias deixadas pelos acontecimentos. Já Aión é o tempo circular que, por sua indefinição, sequer pode ser mensurável. Ele é eterno e sagrado.

Khrónos, decididamente, não dá conta deste 2020. A vida não cabe mais nele, ou talvez nunca tenha cabido. Nós que insistíamos e insistimos em apertar a vida em nossas agendas. Para quê?! Você já começou a planejar o seu 2021? Sua vida caberá nele?! Que vida você está planejando?! Quem você será em 2021? E qual tempo viverá em você?

O TEDxUnisinos 2020 acontece nos dias 6 e 7 de agosto, das 16h às 18h30, pela plataforma Zoom.

Ailton Krenak

Ativista do movimento socioambiental e de defesa dos direitos indígenas
EN - He holds a honoris causa PhD degree by Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, in Minas Gerais. Socio-environmental movement activist and defender of indigenous rights, he is recognized as one of the most original and important Brazilian thinkers. Author of the books "Ideias para adiar o fim do mundo" (Ideas to postpone the end of the world), "A vida não é útil" (Life is not useful), and "O amanhã não está à venda" (Tomorrow is not for sale), listening to him is more urgent than ever. At TEDxUnisinos 2020, he shared how haste and necessity make the conception of time a failure in modern society.

Ana Cláudia Tonelli

Médica
EN - Preceptor of the medical residency program in Internal Medicine at Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre and professor at the Medicine course at Unisinos. Ana graduated in Medicine and holds a PhD in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Sciences by UFRGS. At TEDxUnisinos 2020, she shared how each individual perceives a different opportunity to live in the small cracks of time that she/he has left.

Dirceu Corrêa Jr.

Empreendedor
EN - CEO of Postmetria and passionate about big data strategies and consumer experience. He also supports volunteer projects that foster Afro-entrepreneurship, as well as studies on data economy. He holds a Master's degree in business administration from Université de Poitiers (France) and in business and management from Unisinos, University in which he also lectures about digital culture. At TEDxUnisinos 2020, he shared the evolution of data usage to build better times for everyone.

Duda Fortuna

Compositor, poeta e produtor cultural - ATRAÇÃO MUSICAL
EN - Duda has been presenting and producing Sarau Livre since 2014 and, as a composer and poet, he claims to perceive human behavior as his main inspiration. He recognizes, in time, an essential indicator to his songs. Recently, he released his OK O2 album on the streaming platforms.

Dulce Ribeiro

EN - She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Anthropology by PUCRS, studies human development, assisting individuals, groups, and organizations to identify, in their stories, the transformative potential that leads free human beings to take control of their own lives. At TEDxUnisinos 2020, she shared the need to rethink time aiming less urgency and more attention to the here and now.

Professor, dançarino e coreógrafo
EN - Teacher at Escola de Dança da UFBA, Edu has a degree in fine arts, a specialization in Art Therapy, holds a Master’s degree in dance and currently is a PhD researcher at Multiinstitucional Multidisciplinar em Difusão do Conhecimento (DMMDC). He is a director, choreographer, and dancer for Grupo X de Improvisação em Dança. In partnership with this group, he has been producing, since 2004, the cultural exchange Euphorico, with Cie Artmacadam, from France. Co-leader of Grupo de Pesquisa PORRA and co-founder of Coletivo Carro de Mão. He develops projects in art education, teaching in dance and handicraft workshops for people with and without disabilities. In addition, he is also the author of several books. At TEDxUnisinos 2020, he shared and demystified the idea of only one way of thinking about life, time and all possibilities, as a biped.

Eliane Schlemmer

Professora e pesquisadora
EN - Eliane has a 30-year trajectory with a lot of history as a teacher and researcher. She holds a PhD in Informatics in Education and she is a professor-researcher at the Graduate Program of Education, at the Graduate Program of Applied Linguistics, and leads the Grupo Internacional de Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento e Formação Educação Digital - GPe-dU UNISINOS / CNPq (International Group for Research, Development and Training Digital Education). She is also one of the creators of the Rede Internacional de Educação OnLIFE - RIEOnLIFE (International Education Network OnLIFE). At TEDxUnisinos 2020, she shared her constant learning through technology.

Grazi Mendes

Executiva, professora e ativista
EN - Grazi is co-founder of an accessible school called Pre Enem Morro do Papagaio and PONTE - hub of diversity and inclusion. Executive with experiences in multinational and national companies of different segments and sizes. She is also a University professor and teaches in leadership development programs. In all the positions she occupies, she is committed to the revolutionary future she believes in: plural and inclusive.

Lelei Teixeira

Jornalista
EN - Journalist graduated from Unisinos, Lelei Lelei is part of the Gira Produção e Conteúdo team. Until mid-August, she wrote the blog "Isso não é comum” (This is not common) in Sul21 news portal, which is now being transferred to the Gira company website. For her, reducing prejudice is only possible if we bring this debate to the center of attention. "Talking about these topics can transform curious looks into welcoming ones," she says. At TEDxUnisinos 2020, she shared experiences of a life of learning and timeless stories.

Luiza Serpa

EN - Social entrepreneur and co-founder of Instituto Phi. Advertiser, she has explored several paths in the areas of communication. Her mission is to build solid bridges for transformative donations. At TEDxUnisinos 2020, she shared the experiences that led her to invest her time in favor of other people.

Marília Veríssimo Veronese

Professora e pesquisadora
EN - PhD in Social Psychology by PUCRS, with post-doctorate in sociology at the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra. She is a Researcher at Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa (CNPq) and has a 22-year experience in teaching career in lato and stricto sensu graduate courses.

Raull Santiago

Ativista, comunicador social e pesquisador
EN - Founder and member of Papo Reto, Movimentos, and Perifa Connection collectives, he is part of the Assembleia de Membros da Anistia Internacional do Brasil (Members of Brazil’s Amnesty International Assembly). He is a researcher in the area of drug policies at Centro de Estudos de Segurança e Cidadania. At TEDxUnisinos 2020, he shared how important social movements are in order to transform the life of those who are peripheral.

Cantora - ATRAÇÃO MUSICAL
EN - Rê has performed with several bands from the southern Brazilian music scenario, received 3 nominations for the Prêmio Açorianos de Música in 2009, sang on movie tracks, and has participated in The Voice Brasil. Her first album, Sambô, was released in 2008 at Theatro São Pedro, and currently is relaunched for streaming platforms with a new visual identity.

Ricardo Yudi

Professor e empreendedor
EN - Gastronomy professor at UFCSPA, he holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Design and he is a PhD student in Design at Unisinos. He co-founded Rede Latinoamericana de Food Design (redLaFD - Latin American Food Design Network). In addition, he is also a food designer at s3foodlab and a partner at JUSTO. At TEDxUnisinos 2020, he shared the different ways to look at food in our everyday life.

Rualdo Menegat

Geólogo, professor e pesquisador
EN - Geologist and professor at the UFRGS’ Geosciences Institute. Doctor of Science in Landscape Ecology, Doctor Honoris Causa (UPAB, Peru). Scientific Vice-President of Foro Latino-Americano de Ciências Ambientais (Latin American Forum on Environmental Sciences) / UNESCO Chair / Unitwin, President of the Brazilian Session of the International Association for Geoethics. Latin America co-leader of the international project Geology and Society of IGCP UNESCO and the International Union of Geological Sciences, visiting professor at the University of Lanús (Argentina). His discoveries in geo archaeology were recently considered the solution to the Machu Picchu mystery and repercuted internationally. At TEDxUnisinos 2020, he shared how ancient civilizations built the notions of society in the past times.

Valéria Barcellos

Cantora, atriz, performer, escritora e DJ.
EN - Valéria opened up for Katy Perry in 2018 and was the winner of the 2012 Festival da Canção Francesa (French Song Festival). She defines herself as the human will of giving time and voice to black and trans women, since Brazil is one of the countries with highest incidence of violence against the transsexual population, according to the NPO Transgender Europe (TGEu).

Walter Kohan

Professor e pesquisador
EN - Professor at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Researcher at Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa (CNPq) and Scientist at Fundação de Amparo à Investigação do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ). He holds a Postdoctoral degree from the Universities of Paris 8 (France) and British Columbia (Canada), he advises master, PhD, and postdoctoral students in philosophy of education. Current co-editor of the journal childhood & philosophy, Walter has already been President of the Conselho Internacional para a Investigação Filosófica com Crianças (ICPIC) (International Council for Philosophical Research with Children) and has given teacher training courses in numerous countries in Latin America, Europe and others like South Africa , Mozambique, South Korea, China and Japan. He is the author of “Paulo Freire mais do que nunca, uma biografia filosófica” - "Paulo Freire more than ever, a philosophical biography" - Vestígio publisher (2019).
