In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

CJ Krainock

CJ Krainock is a victim of sexual assault and an advocate for male sexual assault victims. He is passionate about ending male sexual assault stigmas and helping victims receive the help that they need to recover properly. CJ is now the CEO of Incline Marketing, a loving husband and father, and baseball coach at Madison High School in Rexburg, ID.

Clayton Poland

Clayton Poland is a shoulder-tapper reminding companies, organizations and educators to focus on the good stuff by articulating what’s most important to them so they can build systems to accelerate growth, ignite productivity, connect deeper, and dream bigger. He married his high school sweetheart, Leigh, and they have four amazing kids; Ethan, Maddie, Charlie and Maria. They call West Monroe, LA home where they can be found hanging out with family and friends enjoying the culture of family they’ve built together.

Dr. Jason Karp

A competitive runner since sixth grade, Dr. Jason Karp quickly learned how running molds us into better, more deeply conscious people, just as the miles and interval workouts mold us into faster, more enduring runners. This passion Jason found as a kid placed him on a road that he still follows as a coach, exercise physiologist, author of 12 books and 400 articles, and speaker. He is the 2011 IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year and two-time recipient of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition Community Leadership award. His REVO₂LUTION RUNNING™ certification has been obtained by coaches in 25 countries.

Jason Poland

Jenna Johnson

Jenna embraces the mantra to live life to its absolute fullest, “making memories” with her family and those she loves are her most valuable commodity. The first person to help plan a trip to climb a mountain, explore a red rock desert or dance in the rain in a tropical jungle. The life lessons She has learned through being in the outdoors have helped her develope the skill set to run multiple successful businesses, raise a family of four and be the first person you call when life‘s tragedies hit.

Marcy Axelrod

Marcy is an award-winning author of “On Your Game!”, keynote speaker and management consultant, with a background on Wall Street and in Silicon Valley. Her twenty years of research into how people achieve, and specifically, how people choose to show up, provides a new way of seeing the world, naturally helping people live closer to their potential, and enabling companies to innovate and grow. Her forthcoming book (Fall 2022), How We Choose to Show Up, builds on 20+ years of research indicating how often we “just” show up, impeding our work and lives, and intuitively enabling us to achieve more.

Monica Foster

Proform Airborne was formed in 1988 in Rexburg, Idaho. In the past 30+ years the team has traveled the world performing, competing and teaching new generations of athletes. They have garnered numerous National and World titles including individual female and male freestyle champions in the year 2019.

Rick Hansen

Rick spent 10 years as a teacher and professor and 20 years in executive leadership. Originally from Southern CA, he is an avid surfer focused on teaching leaders how to motivate and inspire the teams they lead. He is passionate about leadership and the positive impact leaders could and should have on people. With a diverse background domestically and globally, he understands how to move the business forward where motivation and inspiration become the competitive edge. Whether it’s the companies he’s owned or transformed, he uses surfing as a metaphor to inform how he leads his teams and organizations.

Russell Gaede, PsyD

Dr. Russ went from failing out of high school to earning a Doctorate in Psychology. Having struggled with severe speech impediments and a diagnosis of Tourette Syndrome, Dr. Russ is now a speaker, consultant and mediator. Dr. Russ is hired by organizations and individuals to help improve what really matters – relationships, personally and professionally. He is the author of multiple books, and has been featured on various TV and radio programs.

Seth Robins

Seth is the faculty-director of the First-Year Freshmen Seminar Program at Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he works to inspire self-confidence, wherewithal, and stick-to-itiveness in his students as they pursue their educational and career goals.
