In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Andrea Csiki

Csíki Andrea is a clinical psychologist, a school counselor, and a teacher. She’s been in this profession for nearly ten years. She’s also been working for ten years in a children’s home and as a specialist in helping socially disadvantaged people. She’s the brainchild of the HEART CARE movement, which organizes a series of events on psychological topics within national and international festivals. Andrea’s mission is the development and helping of spiritual balance and inner harmony because for her this constitutes one of the most important values. She would like to encourage and enlighten her fellow human beings about the usefulness of psychologists for all of us.

Dorin Ogleja

Coffee. That is their specialty. Specialty coffee, to be more precise. Dorin and István started from a basement and worked their way up to what we now know and love: 112 Coffee & Co. A successful local start-up, which even goes beyond the town of Tîrgu Mureș. Having a growth mindset and positive thinking, as well as being on the same wavelength, these guys built the brand step by step, never stopping, not even if things got rough. Their journey is truly inspiring, and you can hear all about it on the 28th of September! You don’t often see a TEDx talk being held by two people on stage, so be sure to check it out.
