The problem of environmental pollution has never been so important. We’re now facing a serious threat to the existence of every living species — all because of our actions. Yet, more and more is being done to prevent our planet from becoming completely destroyed. The Zero Waste movement, which originally started with one person and spread quickly, has highlighted this problem so well that the European Parliament recently voted for a complete ban on a range of single-use plastics across the union in a bid to stop marine pollution. This is how one individual with a great idea can truly make a difference.
At the upcoming TEDxKazimierzSalon, we will present a series of TED Talks that showcase how each of us can start live with a positive, less-waste attitude and help understand the overall of the problem.
