Dr. Tejas patel is an internationally acclaimed and a renowned cardiologist from India, practicing in Ahmedabad. He is the pioneer of transradial angioplasty in India and has published several papers and books on the topic. He has performed over 100,000 cardiac procedures which is one of the highest number of procedures performed by any single operator in the world. The government of India awarded him with the highest Indian medical award DR B.C. ROY award in 2005 and he was also honoured with Padma Shri the 4th highest Indian civilian award for his service to the nation.
