Calick Arrieta

Public Secondary School Principal
He is currently the Secondary School Principal of Calbayog City National High School, Samar, Region 8. He is a graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Physics and Chemistry, Master of Arts in Education major in Administration and Supervision. He graduated his Doctor of Philosophy at Leyte Normal University, Tacloban City, major in Social Science Research. Currently he is on his 3rd year for his Bachelor of Laws at Christ the King College Calbayog City. He was a former faculty member of Calbayog City National High School for 10 long years prior to his assignment as School Head of Tarabucan National High School and assigned as Senior Education Program Specialist in the Schools Division of Calbayog City. He is a DepEd National Educators Academy of the Philippines CERTIFIED Learning Facilitator. He was awarded as Outstanding Science Teacher, Outstanding Secondary School Principal and National Awardee as School Head of a Best Implementing School.

Guilermo Nival

Lecturer
He was a former seminarian of St. Anthony Mary Claret College of Quezon City. He has been a teacher since 2006. He married Emily Jill Torredes Nival, a faculty of Leyte Normal University; with three kids. He is currently finishing his Master of Arts in Sociology at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

Mac Evangelista

Startup Founder, Lead Innovator of Container Living PH
As Principal Designer, Mac is responsibe in the planning and designing of the shipping container structures. She collects information on the design requirements by interacting with clients to identify specification and budget. For Business Development, Mac continuously identifies the opportunities in existing markets while creating new opportunities for new and existing markets with new product lines. She also seeks highly strategic sales processes that focus on large-scale partnerships that aligns with the long-term strategic goals of the Company. Mac has a background in Aeronautical Engineering and is currently taking up Architecture in DLS-College of St. Benilde. She has spent 5 years doing environmental work, focusing on the areas of Genetic Engineering, Toxics Pollution, Climate and Energy. After which, she spent 10 years in corporate work in the real estate industry doing sales, marketing, and business development for several real estate companies.

Marieta Sumagaysay

Executive Director, National Research Council of the Philippines
Dr. Marieta Sumagaysay is currently on secondment as Executive Director of the National Research Council of the Philippines . She holds the rank of Professor 9 in Economics at the University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College where she graduated magna cum laude with the degree Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (Economics) in 1981. She occupied various administrative positions in the college. Dr. Sumagaysay finished degrees in Master of Arts in Economics, Master of Management in Business Management, and PhD in Social Science Research. Her researches and publications revolve around women, work, labor force participation, and livelihoods particularly of women in coastal fishing and aquaculture; environment-induced migration and adaptive capacities of vulnerable communities; child labor incidence and underground economies; small-scale entrepreneurship and gendered value chain analysis; and on democratic accountability in the delivery of post-disaster services.

Myke Celis

Certified Life Coach, Multimedia Personality
After leaving his corporate post as a multinational advertising executive more, Myke embarked on his own #bestmeever journey and became everything he wanted to be after following his heart and pursuing his passion: a certified transformational life coach, a book author of 3 inspirational titles (#bestmeever Of Moving On and Forward, #bestmeever Of Possitivity and Possiblities and 100 Life Lessons for Success, available at all leading bookstores nationwide), a talkshow host of radio Inquirer DZIQ 990AM, an entrepreneur (owner of PerCX Advertising Agency, The hair Lounge Salon, Smell Chic Home and Body Care and Family Favorites Kitchen Café) and the face and host of ABS-CBN Adober Studios Multimedia Life and Inspiration. He finds time to work out and travel, spreading good vibes everywhere he goes, touching one life at a time. Myke holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Communication and a Master’s Degree in Media Studies from the University of the Philippines Diliman.

Ricky Shetty

Internet Marketer
Ricky Shetty is the owner and operator of Daddy Blogger, where he writes about parenting from a father’s perspective with a big emphasis on family travel with young kids. Currently, Ricky and his family are travelling around the world as part of their #DaddyBloggerWorldTour visiting Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America and Central America. Ricky has been to 81 countries on 6 continents and his big goal is to be the FIRST FAMILY to visit every single country in the world. Ricky is an internet Marketer, Digital Nomad, and passionate husband and father of 3 young kids.

Stephen Lagarde

Professor, University of the Philippines
He finished his PhD in Philippine Studies under the UP Tri-College PhD Phil Studies Program. His publications include "Koro Leyteño: Choral Arran gements of Selected Traditional Songs of Leyte" as well as articles published in Araw magazine of the NCCA, academic journal of UP Visayas, and the Musika Jornal of the UP Center of Ethnomusicology. He is the President of the Eas tern Visayas Choral Association (EVCA) and serves as a Cultural and Talent Consultant of the Province of Leyte. His current interest is on the pursuit of researches in the field of popular music studies.
