Dave Troy

Dave Troy is a serial entrepreneur and community activist in Baltimore, Maryland. He is CEO and product architect at 410 Labs, maker of the popular e-mail management tool Mailstrom.co. He has been acknowledged by the founding team at Twitter as the first developer to utilize the Twitter API, with his project “Twittervision,” which was featured in the 2008 MoMA exhibition “Design and the Elastic Mind.” His crowdsourced project Peoplemaps.org uses social network data to map cities. He is also organizer of TEDxMidAtlantic and is passionate about data, cities, and entrepreneurship.

Francisco Robledo

Activist
Entrepreneur and educational activist in LGBT issues. He provides information and management services to facilitate the marriage of gay and lesbian couples in Mexico since 2011. In 2014, it forms the Alliance for Diversity and Labor Inclusion, an organization with which it promotes open policies and procedures in favor of LGBT employees in its workplaces. Currently implementing in Mexico the HRC Equity MX certification for inclusive LGBT companies of the US organization Human Rights Campaign.

Gabriela Reyes Fuchs

She is an inventor and Founder of Dead Soon Project, a scientific discovery and art platform dedicated to the to the greater good. The sudden death of her father triggered Gabriela’s desire to look closely into the continuum of existence. By placing his ashes under a high powered microscope, she made the first step into a fascinating and beautiful art project. What she found was that science doesn’t provide all the answers. There are many ways to observe and analyze our everlasting existence. Life and death are just concepts and trust us you will fall in love with Gabriela’s interpretation.

Gran Sur

Banda
Incontables son las bandas que los músicos crean para hacer algo distinto a lo que hacen con su proyecto principal. Así es como lo hicieron esta vez con Gran Sur; una banda conformada por Sofi Mayen, Javier Ramirez conocido como El Cha!, Iñaki Vazquez y Elohim Corona. Gran sur es un proyecto que tenían en un principio Cha e Iñaki desde hace años. Tenían una idea de lo que querían, pero no sabían qué tipo de canciones querían y no fue hasta que los invitaron a hacer un tributo a Frank Sinatra que decidieron darle forma al proyecto y me invitaron a colaborar en un cover a “Something Stupid“. Ahí me dijeron que querían formar una banda, pero aún no tenían nombre ni canciones.

Simone De Beauvoir (1908-1986)

Writer and Philosopher
Simone Lucie Ernestine Marie Bertrand de Beauvoir, [1908 – 1986) was a French writer, intellectual, existentialist philosopher, political activist, feminist and social theorist. Though she did not consider herself a philosopher, she had a significant influence on both feminist existentialism and feminist theory. De Beauvoir wrote novels, essays, biographies, autobiography and monographs on philosophy, politics and social issues. She was known for her 1949 treatise The Second Sex, a detailed analysis of women's oppression and a foundational tract of contemporary feminism.
