Theme: TRANSFORMYOURSELF

This event occurred on
November 25, 2018
Tashkent, Toshkent
Uzbekistan

Natures’ one of the most beautiful species – butterflies – throughout their life cycle symbolize soul and transformation process. A courageous caterpillar emerges into pupa and later to the butterfly mixed in the colors of universe.

Similarly to butterfly, Uzbekistan, and ultimately the whole society is going through transformation process that marks a new chapter in its history. While we are embracing nearly every aspect of human life - business, culture, politics, information technologies, architecture, journalism, and sports - we thrive to define a new future.

Yet, we as separate individuals are challenged to recall and find our own place in this transformation process. Thus, the theme “TRANSFORMYOURSELF” is a call and invitation to ordinary people to make your own mark in this process by finding a better version of yourself.

Journalist, Musician, Producer
Disputes on art are as infinite as they are meaningless. How often do you misinterpret the message conveyed by an artist, director or a poet? Is it a snobbery or a revelation? How do you know whether you are consuming a fake art of a true masterpiece? Why do we need the pop-culture along with the high art? Artistic world is hard to navigate, especially, if you don’t possess the necessarily tool. A journalist, producer, musician and a playwright Nikita Makarenko is offering “a system of coordinates” aimed to help you understand the work of art.
