While TED Talks give us a wide variety of topics to discuss, we realize that the 2016 election results are on many people’s minds as post-election America seems as divided as ever. Analyses abound and emotions are charged. Facts are hard to discern through the partisan fiction spreading rapidly on social media.
What are the take-aways of this election? How do we act purposefully and rationally towards unity? We want to hear your ideas. Join us in viewing a thought-provoking TED Talk followed by a moderated discussion.
TEDxGreensboroSalon: The Divided States of America will be a chance to examine and share our thoughts. Join us on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in the UpStage Cabaret at Triad Stage. Doors open at 5:45 for cash bar and conversation. The program will be from 6:30 to 8:00.
There is no charge for the salon but pre-registration is required. Enrollment is limited to 75. Registration is first-come, first-served. We expect this Salon to "sell out." If you reserve a place and later find you can't attend, please let us know so that someone else may be admitted.
