When you cross this line – all limits disappear and unlimited possibilities open: in sports – world records are achieved, science – a break happens that changes everything known, society – everything that was a taboo before becomes normal. An enthusiast of space and technology, the leader of „Space LAB“, one of the leaders of Lithuania‘s Moon Mission. He‘s dreaming of becoming „Elon Musk“ one day („when he grows up“).

Dance company PADI DAPI Fish

Is Klaipėda’s dance company which was created by group of artists named “Fish Eye”. The main aim of this company is to establish professional work in contemporary dance in Klaipėda and Lithuania. The company is exceptional for involving local communities to a creative process, interdisciplinary work that aims at connecting contemporary dance with different disciplines from various art forms to cultural heritage.

Girmantas Neniskis

The president of Lithuanian surfing association, festival organiser, traveler.

Girmantas Neniskis is the President of Lithuanian Surfing Association, ten-year “Surf Camp” festival organiser, video producer, traveler. Surfing for the first time in his childhood fascinated him so much, that it became indispensable part of his life ever since. Today, whether he’s filming stunt rider on the skyscraper, or surfing double overhead waves, Neniskis is always in search of new limits and ways to break free.

Klaipeda Puppet Theatre

Klaipeda Puppet Theatre is one of the youngest up-and-coming puppet theatres in Lithuania, constantly in search of new means of theatrical expression in the language of puppetry. It is a contemporary, refined, representative theatre that is interesting for both children and the adult viewers. Public institution Klaipeda Puppet Theatre is the only professional, repertoire puppet theatre in Western Lithuania which carries out its activities in the framework of the annual programme and the strategic Klaipeda Puppet Theatre plan. Theatre experts name Klaipeda Puppet Theatre as one of the strongest, most ambitious puppet theaters in our country. By performing regularly for children, organising various educational projects, our theatre fills an important niche in Klaipeda – it brings theatre to the young, as well as adult, audiences.

Linas Kutavicius

An artist Linas Kutavičius by using experimental materials designs and builds functional light objects for interior and exterior spaces. Since 1997 L. Kutavičius takes part in exhibitions and different cultural events. He has been collaborating with other artists in a number of informal intercultural projects, and has designed the visual environment of various music festivals and other events.

An educator, psychologist and linguist; has 20 years of experience in teaching and has taught more than 2000 students from all around Lithuania of different ages, abilities and as well as learning disabilities and handicapped.

A cursed urbanite of Klaipeda and dedicated sociologist at Klaipeda university exploring urban community with a critical friendly eye. He writes about post-Soviet transformations of Klaipeda society and is a regular guest lecturer on subcultural studies at various universities in Lithuania. For him, a freedom is to save a subjective meaning of what you do.

Roman and Julija Gaiduk have been married for 20 years and have been raising 6 children, 5 of which are adopted. Julija holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, and is a Professor of Psychology at LCC International University (Klaipeda). Roman is a Senior Consultant and Partner at Grand Partners, a leading Leadership Development company in Lithuania.

Sergej Olenin

Marine biologist, professor of biomedical sciences

Sergej OLENIN is a leading researcher at the Marine Science and Technology Center and a professor in Biological Oceanography at Klaipeda University (Lithuania), specializes in marine ecology and aquatic invasion biology. He participated in research cruises in the Baltic and North Seas, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans; conducted SCUBA diving and underwater video research expeditions in the Black Sea, White Sea and Svalbard. Recently he chaired the Joint Research Center / International Council for the Exploration of the Sea Task Group “Non-indigenous species” developing Good Environmental Status Descriptor for the EU Marine Strategy Framework Directive.
