TEDxYouth@BOSS is a one day event filled with exceptional speakers and performers, exploring the theme of "What Now?". Today, young people are growing up in a world where their identities, definitions and categorizations are constantly shifting. Who and what we are in the eyes of adults, but also in our own eyes, is changing in profound ways. It’s an exciting time, but can also be a confusing one. Some feel liberated to define who they are for themselves, while others feel overwhelmed by having to define themselves at all. As the change quickens, there are those who find themselves included and valued, but also those who feel ‘lost between the cracks.’ The BOSS TEDx event will give students the opportunity to collectively engage in conversations about where we are today and where we want to be tomorrow, in school and beyond. Our speakers will be multi-dimensional, inspiring, passionate and engaged individuals who have a story to tell and have ideas to share.
