In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aaron Mendoza y Ensamble

Aarón Mendoza – Piano – Inició sus lecciones de piano a la edad de 6 años, con el pianista Rogelio Acosta. Años después se enfoco en la música clásica, principalmente en compositores como Chopin y Liszt. A la edad de 16 años, empezó a aparecer en un programa de televisión local llamado: “Esta Noche con Natalia Baeza”, interpretando el piano al inició del programa, durante 3 años. En el mismo año tuvo la oportunidad de tocar con el famoso pianista argentino Raul Di Blasio en Cd. Juarez. Años después, empezó a componer sus propios temas, algunas canciones, y otras piezas solo para piano.. A la edad de 21 años se mudó a El Paso TX, donde se enfoco en crear mas música. Una de sus metas es inspirar a miles de personas a que aprecien lo verdaderamente importante en la vida, mediante emociones de paz, esperanza y libertad, transmitidas por el piano. Mario Armando Payán – Violin - Aprendió a tocar la trompeta cuando tenía 9 años bajo la instrucción de Chris Jones. A partir de los 13 años empezó a tomar clases de violín, con el Dr. Elías Osuna y después con la Lic. Daniela Moncada. Con la trompeta formó parte de la banda sinfónica de la Academia Juárez con la Lic. Martha Pendones durante 4 años. Con el violín, actualmente forma parte del Mariachi Juvenil "Sí Señor" y continúa estudiando con la maestra Guadalupe Esparza. Miguel Isai Salvador – Cello - Empezo tocando a los 15 años en la orquesta Ezperanza Azteca, y actualmente estudia tercer semestre de la Licenciatura en Música. He recibido clases con la Maestra Zofia Analewics, y el Maestro Momchil Tzvetkov. Y se ha presentado en el FICH y en Houston. Georgina Meraz - Violoncello – Empezó su formación musical como cantante en la facultad de artes en Chihuahua a la edad de 17 años. Terminó la Licenciatura en Música en la UACJ el año pasado. Ha tenido clases maestras con los cellistas Ignacio Mariscal y Carlos Prieto, y seminarios de Jazz con Edgar Dorantes y Jennifer Beaujin. En 2014 recibió una beca para estudiar en Xalapa, Veracruz un semestre, y en el mismo año participó en la obra “Justicia Negada” de la compañía Telon de Arena. Ha participado en las de 20 presentaciones en Alemania, Austria y México. Actualmente es estudiante del cellista Jorge Espinoza del cuarteto La Catrina. Katya - Violinista

He lived in Guadalajara when they notified him that one of his friends had a serious drug addiction in Juarez. Knowing that the battle with an addiction takes time, without a doubt he and his family decided to move to Juarez taking a bus of a 24 hour drive to find a new place to live, a new job , a new school for the kids, but overall to save a friend.
