In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Bonnie Parsons

Bonnie recently retired Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP),  with a Master's in Nursing, a Palliative Care Clinician and former manager of the Center for Comprehensive Palliative Care. Bonnie started two palliative care programs, one in Wilmington, NC and the other in Ocala. The Ocala program won a national award in 2009 from The National Consensus Project for Quality Palliative Care Leadership.

Connie Rose

Connie Rose is a speaker, trainer, and media contributor. She is an Executive Leadership Ph.D. candidate at Destiny Christian College. She draws on her personal journey of resiliency and transformation from over 16 years of childhood sexual abuse, sexual exploitation at the hands of a serial sex offender father. Connie helps others achieve their own path of resiliency and transformation while creating a sense of community and restoration. Resiliency + Transformation = Powerful Leaders.

Jeanne has coached hundreds of people on setting boundaries, resolving conflict, finding true joy and passion in their work, and elevating teams to higher levels of performance. Nadia Ahmad

Nadia B. Ahmad is an Assistant Professor at Barry University School of Law. Professor Ahmad’s research explores the intersections of energy siting, the environment, and sustainable development and draws on international investment law and corporate social responsibility. She has published over 20 scholarly articles, book chapters, and reviews. Professor Ahmad was competitively selected twice to present at the Sabin Colloquium on Innovative Environmental Scholarship at Columbia Law School.
