This year’s theme of TEDxULSalon is FALLING UP. Our word play may sound contradictory, but we believe that every fall has a rise. Let it be losing your job, a bad grade on an exam or failing class, sudden change or bankruptcy, every single one of these events could be our jumping-off point to make a change in our lives. But in the end it all depends on us and our persistency to learn as much as we can from the experience. At this year’s event our speakers will share with us their falls and rises and the knowledge they gained along the way.

Domen is a doctor of Political management of voting campaigns, right now working at The institute for political management in Slovenia. On the event he talked about the phenomena and fascination with “something new”.
