Ahalya Rajagopalan
Ahalya Rajagopalan is an 11th grader at Oakridge International School, studying Math, Chemistry and Biology at a higher level. Among various other things, she is a national swimmer, competitive basketball player, and part of her school's Model United Nations Secretariat.
Arundhati Iyer
Arundhati Iyer is a 7th grader at the International School of Hyderabad. She is a competitive swimmer, passionate sketcher, and has a love for astrophysics, playing the guitar and basketball. She wants become an activist involved in human rights and environmental causes or become an astrophysicist.
Bhamini Lakshminarayan
Bhamini Lakshminarayan is a Co-Director of the national campaign for gender sensitization, No Country For Women (http://www.nocountryforwomen.org/). At 22, she is a graduate of Economics from St. Stephen’s College and an unapologetic feminist. She loves the written word, playing the ukulele, theatre, philosophy, dogs, and DIY projects. What she would love the most is a country in which she and her friends can walk outside on the street and not be harassed for their varying sexes, gender identification, and sexual orientation.
Bhargav Pandravada
Bhargav Pandravada is a 12th grader at Chirec International School. In addition to all the MUNs, debates and various leadership and business summits, Bhargav is extremely passionate about asking and giving his own take on the big questions, including the energy crisis that our world is facing and the way we power humanity.
Gabrielle Grobler
Gabrielle Grobler is a 7th grader at the International School of Hyderabad. She is a competitive runner and soccer player, a devoted singer and piano player who hopes to one day become an astrophysicist. She has deep interests in maths and science, especially astronomy/astrophysics, and also music and sports. She loves travelling and has lived in three different countries. She hopes to one day use her diversity, interests and talents to leave a mark on the world.
Natasha Patnaik
Natasha Patnaik is a 7th grader at the International School of Hyderabad. She is an enthusiastic performer when it comes to presenting and sharing ideas. Natasha enjoys playing guitar, swimming and drama. Above all she is passionate about being creative and adding imagination to the world. She dreams of different vivid ideas and applies science and logic to put them into the context of the real world.
Nikhil Jain
Nikhil Jain is a high-school student and the Founder of The Global Impact Project (www.facebook.com/TheGlobalImpactProject). His aim is bold but simple: Get everyone to start talking about gender and sexuality, because only our stories can make the 10% of LGBT people an integral part of the 100% we all belong to.
Suhaas Putta
Suhaas is a 12th grader at Gitanjali School, the founder of Campus Talkies, and an avid debater and an able quizzer. He is troubled by something that’s happening around us, and he’s here to talk about it and try to make an impact. Having been a student activist with various student organizations, he takes on the big questions – Which Activism is the right activism? Which way is the right way for all the next big leaders of the world to tread along?
