Pathways lead us to a network of possibilities. This year's TEDxYouth@WAB event will include nine youth speakers, G5 - G12, two adult speakers and one youth dance group.

Jeff J Brown

Jeff is the author of 44 Days Backpacking in China: The Middle Kingdom in the 21st Century, with the United States, Europe and the Fate of the World in Its Looking Glass. Jeff Grew up in in the heartland of the United States. He currently lives in Beijing with his wife and younger daughter, where he is an elementary school teacher in an international school.

Vignesh Sundaram

Vignesh goes to school at the Western Academy of Beijing. He is originally from Australia and India.

Beverly Tan

Originating from Singapore, Beverly has been at the Western Academy of Beijing for the past seven years. She is currently a sophomore there.

Morrison Tulloch

Morrison is ten and is from the United States. She has lived in Asia for almost ten years.

Gordon Minton

Gordon, like many others nowadays, is part of a growing community of third culture people. He is currently a teacher at the Western Academy of Beijing. He lives in Beijing with his wife and two of his three children.

Yang Lowe

Originally from Taiwan, Yang Lowe is currently a Grade 9 student at the Western Academy of Beijing.

Michaela Zimmerman

Michaela is a seventeen year old 11th grade student at the Western Academy of Beijing.

Carolina Minton-Frias

Born in Venezuela and lived in the Philippines, the Sultanate of Oman, Thailand and China, Carolina enjoys learning about the world and dreaming big.

Jackson Ferry-Zamora

Jackson is ten years old and a Grade 5 student at the Western Academy of Beijing. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Beijing with his family when he was eight years old.

Molly Godde

Molly is ten years old and has lived in China and Australia, but is an Australian at heart. She lives in Beijing with her mother, father and brother and is a student at the Western Academy of Beijing.

Olivia Roberts

Currently enjoying her 4th year in Beijing, Olivia believes that living in Beijing has made a large difference in her life. Originally from British Columbia, Canada, Olivia is currently a student at the Western Academy of Beijing.
