On Universal Children's Day major cities around the world will be holding TED-style talks for youth in their cities. At TEDxYouth@ChitkaraSchool, we will too be spreading the innovative and creative ideas, talent and dedication amongst our school students with inspiring speeches, spectacular performances, and interactive discussions. TEDxYouth@ChitkaraSchool will include live talks/ presentations by speakers from all fields, ages and backgrounds as well as content from TED.com.

Our theme - "Connecting The Dots" - will be the platform through which each speaker will share his/her passion and experiences with the students. The dots in our theme represent community (youth), inspiration and empowerment.

Our event is called TEDxYouth@ChitkaraSchool, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxYouth@ChitkaraSchool event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will be combined to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized. Our team consists of volunteers who all support TED's mission of ideas worth spreading.
