Desde simples alfabetos hasta lenguas secretas simbólicas, el diseñador gráfico Saki Mafundikwa celebra las muchas formas de comunicación escrita de todo el continente africano. Hace hincapié en la historia y el legado encarnado en las palabras y en los símbolos escritos, e insta a los diseñadores africanos a aprovechar estas formas gráficas en busca de nuevas formas de inspiración. Y lo resume con su glifo ghaniano favorito, sankofa, que significa "volver en su búsqueda" o "aprender del pasado".
