Why you should listen

From her hands-on start in the fashion world as a visual merchandiser for Ralph Lauren and Benetton, Karinna Grant has evolved into a pioneer and advocate of web3's potential to build a new, more sustainable fashion system. In 2019, she founded Hot Second, a circular economy concept and the world's first physical store where visitors could trade an unloved physical garment for a digital fashion experience token. In 2020, she cofounded The Dematerialised, an experiential marketplace for digital fashion. She is currently empowering the fashion sector to embrace web3 as a digital innovation consultant.

Grant has worked as a researcher, educator and consultant on fashion innovation, collaborated with brands such as Acne, Airbnb and La Prairie and taught at London College of Fashion, Antwerp Management School and ESCP Business School. She has spoken at the Financial Times Business of Luxury conference and SXSW and has provided commentary for publications including Vogue Business, Business of Fashion and Bloomberg.
