Why you should listen

As an expert in China policy, Changhua Wu advises governments and corporations on sustainable strategy and climate solutions. She sits on the boards for a number of environmental organizations surrounding water security and sustainable infrastructure financing, including the Innovation for Cool Earth Forum (ICEF) steering committee, the Global Infrastructure Basel Foundation, the World Economic Forum’s Expert Community and the Asian Development Bank’s Water Advisory Group. She also serves as vice chair of both the Governing Council of Asia Pacific Water Forum and the World Green Design Organization and she is a co-chair of the International WELL Building Institute’s Invest for Health Advisory. In 2019, she was recognized by TIME as one of 15 women leading the global fight against climate change.

Wu is also the China/Asia director for American economic and social theorist Jeremy Rifkin and the independent director of Chinese mining and manufacturing company Tianqi Lithium. She formerly served as the CEO of environmental consulting group ENSR, director of China Studies at World Resources Institute and editor of the English edition of China Environment News.
