Bo Cerup-Simonsen is a leader in the global effort to reduce maritime shipping's contributions to greenhouse gas emissions and climate change. With partners from all industrial spheres and all parts of the world, he works to develop the technology, regulation and business models required to clean up maritime commerce.

Shipping is in Cerup-Simonsen's blood, and he's been active in marine technology for decades. Throughout his career, he’s held numerous positions pioneering innovation in the sector, including head of Maersk Maritime Technology (MMT), where he led the development of the world’s most energy-efficient container ship series, the Triple-E.
