Provocative, multidisciplinary and often technology-driven, new modes of art and performance defy their traditional definitions. These Talks celebrate artistic innovation as well as creative cross-pollination.

Game designer Will Wright constructs virtual worlds in which players can make creatures of their own. The dancers of Pilobolus blur the boundary between two bodies, and Eve Ensler crosses a few boundaries herself by speaking bluntly about the body.

Golan Levin uses software to create experimental sonic and visual artworks -- a symphony of ringtones, for example.
