x = independently organized TED event

This event occurred on

10:00am - 5:00pm BST
(UTC +1hr)
Oldham, Oldham
United Kingdom

Joining the worldwide TED community is a way of bringing together and empowering communities. This is an opportunity for Oldham to shine and showcase the town’s positive attitude to growth and change as well as challenging existing views of Oldham.

This will be the first TEDxOldham and to say we’re excited about it is a massive understatement, in the true spirit of TED we can’t wait to collaborate, share, inspire and be inspired.

Oldham Library and their team of forward thinking and creative staff are the perfect match for our vision of creating a place for communities to unite with the common message that ideas are worth spreading.

We hope that TEDxOldham is the spark that will ignite a community who are stimulated, inspired and motivated.
