Joyce Hawkes, Ph.D, is a biophysicist and cell-biologist turned Healer. Honored with a National Achievement Award for her work with the National Marine Fisheries Research Center, she is a postdoctoral Fellow with the National Institutes of Health and American Association for the Advancement of Science. Over the course of 15 years, she has earned an international reputation for her scientific contributions in the field of ultra high-speed laser effects on cells, and the effects of environmental pollutants on cells. She has published 36 peer-reviewed scientific papers. Following a near-death experience in 1984, Joyce changed careers and embarked on extensive exploration of indigenous spiritual and healing traditions, which she incorporated in her first book,Cell-Level Healing: The Bridge from Soul to Cell. Dr. Hawkes is the founder of Healing Arts Associates and maintains a private practice in Seattle. Joyce was featured on a national TV special with Diane Sawyer (seen on Turning Point and on Good Morning America), Art Bell on Coast to Coast Radio and George Noory, and was also filmed in Japan in 2005 for a documentary.
Mike Robbins is the author of two books, Focus on the Good Stuff and Be Yourself, Everyone Else is Already Taken. He delivers keynotes and seminars that empower people and organizations to be more successful, appreciative, and authentic. Prior to his speaking and writing career, Mike played baseball at Stanford University and then professionally with the Kansas City Royals organization. After his athletic career was cut short by injuries, he worked for two internet start-ups, before starting his consulting business in 2001. His clients include Google, Wells Fargo, Adobe, Gap, Twitter, the San Francisco Giants, and many others.
Jenna Norwood, Filmmaker, Raw Food Chef, and Health Educator, travels around the world to colleges, green festivals and health events giving film screenings and speaking about the effects of food choices on our lives; mind, body, spirit & planet. She was recently a guest speaker at Harvard University and has been featured in Reuters International, Woman’s World Magazine, AOL Health, KBS TV (with TV shows airing in Japan, China and Korea) and Radio Paradiso in Tokyo. After her dramatic transformation on raw food, Jenna switched careers from public relations consultant to health educator and raw food chef. She is the founder and organizer of Raw Sarasota, one of the largest raw food Meetup groups in the world. Each month, she teaches raw food preparation classes at Whole Foods Market.
Richard Del Monte
Richard M. Del Monte, MBA, CFP, is a Certified Wealth Consultant and President of Del Monte Group, serving self-made families since 1985. As a faculty member at Institute for Preparing Heirs and member of the Purposeful Planning Institute, he is a founding member of the Council for Shared Leadership, establishing standards of excellence for values based advisors and the families they serve. A sought after instructor, published author and radio talk show guest, this year Richard has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, quoted in the New York Times, and made regular appearances on national FOX Business News "Money with Melissa Francis". His latest appearance discussed Obama's budget plan and its impact on families of significant wealth.
Abby Lodmer, continues to traverse the world, bringing LIGHT and HEALING through HUMOR! She has performed in comedy clubs across the globe, including the Improv and the Laugh Factory, and has been featured in both television and live shows, playing characters from Rizzo in Grease, The Musical, to the “TV Reporter” and the “Jewish Relative” among other characters in Michael Lucid's show, Pretty Thingsss, Abby continues to uplift humanity through her show: Humor Healing Humanity, and through her stand-up comedy performances.
Craig Rouskey, Molecular Immunologist and Citizen Scientist, has researched adoptive T cell therapies for leukemia and prostate cancer, elucidated a role for novel T cell types in psoriasis, and created bacterially-vectored protein and DNA vaccines. As a citizen scientist and an agent for change, Craig merges his passion for social justice with his passion for science. His current work focuses on developing new platforms for the treatment of antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections. Craig strives to create and hold space for citizens to participate in broader scientific discussions and generate solutions to scientific challenges. In doing so, he has co-founded the Gonorrhea Eradication Team and Integration Taskforce (GETit)–a citizen science organization that strives to bring communities together to create phage therapies. He is excited to see an empowered team emerge to take on the challenges of privatized science and eventually deliver novel therapies to people who need them.
Burt Hamner is an international consultant on clean technologies and sustainable business, and the founder of two alternative hydropower companies in Seattle. He is now launching Hydrobee SPC, Inc., a Social Purpose Corporation creating a new water-powered battery for off-grid use. Previously he founded, grew and sold Hydrovolts, Inc. which makes hydrokinetic turbines that generate renewable energy from irrigation canals and industrial water systems. Under his leadership Hydrovolts was the 2009 winner of the national Clean Tech Open Sustainability Award, and winner of the Imagine H2O Water-Energy Nexus prize. Hydrovolts was named an Artemis Top 50 water technology company and a Global Energy Innovator by Launch.Org. Burt was appointed as International Advisor on Marine Energy Resources in 2008 by the New Zealand Ministry of Energy. He was appointed as Chairman of the Renewable Energy Committee of the Marine Technology Society from 2008-10. In 2003 he chaired the panel session on Clean Technology Investment at the United Nations Summit on Sustainable Finance. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Burt spent 15 years as a clean technology consultant in Southeast Asia and South America. His main clients were the US Agency for International Development, the Asian Development Bank, and the United Nations. Burt is a published expert on Total Quality Environmental Management and management accounting for sustainable business, and he has trained over 5000 managers how to increase profits while decreasing environmental impacts.
