"Cabinet of Curiosities"는 17세기 유럽에서

"Cabinet of Curiosities; a world changed through the things you pass by"

The world you see and feel is the result of your selective perception.
Your curiosity is an instinct also created by your perception.

Mankind has progressed within an encompassing paradigm of perception and curiosity, action and change. “Cabinet of Curiosities” refers to a room where aristocrats gathered stuff they found interesting in the seventeenth century in Europe, following the discovery of the New World. Many museums started this way. This place where knowledge was accumulated and shared along with doing research driven by curiosities about new subjects runs concurrent to TED’s spirit of sharing cutting-edge and beneficial ideas.

Who were those people that took questions which anyone could’ve come up with, even people like me and you, seriously and took action? What were the curiosities they had about the world? We want to listen to curiosities that changed the world, no matter how big or small, and to the stories of speakers who put them into action.

What is your world and what are your curiosities?
