• Kwon, Ohyun & Jang, Eunji
  DCG Project Manager & DCG Designer // "Obilivion" Kwon Ohyun is a project manager in DCG who addressed lectures in Sogang University, Ajou University, Hongik University, Jeju University, Chungbuk University, and Suwon’s Women University about the Law of Teaching and Presentation. Also, he was a speaker at Korea’s National Museum, SK’s Foundation for Happiness Distribution, and Recruiting Team. He lectured about Evernotes. Jang Eunji is DCG’s designer. She published her own book which is about her voyage to Jeju island. The book is named “Traveling Drawing Book that is Made Together”. Currently, she is working on establishing DCG’s Prezi, IDENTITY DESIGN, and the Culture Place, DARAK PROJECT. There is a man who is capable of fluently delivering his ideas in front of a majority of people. And a woman who expresses her imaginations through drawing beautiful lines and colors. The two people met in Jeju Island incidently, and they realized that they found ‘something’ that they forgotten for a long time. It was a coalition of a lecturer and the artist. "Language and Art" is like looking at the same area from a different perspective and position. Jang Eunji’s impromptu demonstration of art is prepared for the upcoming event. The celebrated director of DEMIN and the hottest designer of Korea at the moment, Chang Minyoung, will give us the insider story on fashion at TEDxSinchon’s 7th event!   Chef "The Globalization of the Korean Cuisine, The Sophistication of the Korean Cuisine" Chef Kim Kiho is the person who introduced molecule cooking into the korean cuisine. Currently, he is in charge of a restaurant in Ichondong, named 'Chorok Baguni(Green Basket)'. Chorok Baguni has contributed in adding a luxurious taste to the Korean cuisine by exhibiting western cuisines full-course based on natural elements. He wrote 'Nature's Korean Cuisine Recipe' in 2007 and 'The First Step to Molecule Cooking'in 2009, and he broadcasted in EBS's documentary 'Life's 2nd Stage', 'The Man who cooks Happiness', that was aired on October, 2010. Compared to France, Italia, America, Japan, and other countries, the terminology 'Sophistication' applied to the Korean Cuisine is still a bit awkward. Chef Kim Kiho says that he will introduce ideas about why this phenomenon is so, and about how the globalization of the Korean Cuisine will be embodied. The Globalization and Sophistication of the Korean Cuisine, can be evidenced in the 7th TEDxSinchon's event "The Cabinet of Curiosities"!
• Sim, Hyunchul
  A professor in the department of Aerial Cosmic Engineering, KAIST (Belonging to a office of unmanned systems and control) "Study for the future- Inventing a car that does not demand men's control" Professor Sim Hyunchul is working for a development of a driverless car system. A driverless car is a vehicle which drives itself to the target spot by cognizing driving environment without a human driver. It requires a combination of computer visions, vehicle technology, unmanned driving systems, and other sophisticated technology to operate. This means people have to have a deeper understanding of vehicles, and Mr. Sim is conducting the study of unmanned systems by applying a new perspective as a professor in the department of Aerial Cosmic Engineering. He already showed a great possibility of applying his professional field knowledge to the system by achieving recognition from a number of contests.   A Representative of 'Vapshion' "Decorating UCCs with its diligent techniques" "TV Character Graphics" is subtitles which supplement the understandings of an entertainment program. The representative of the company "Vapshion", Seo Younghwa, is developing software that non-professionals can use in order to help them make subtitles easily, by supplying it through an online platform. He is putting zealous efforts into the project so that one can deliver his or her own thoughts to other people more effectively by utilizing this technique on UCCs. Let’s share his ideas in TEDxSinchon 7th event "The Cabinet of Curiosities".

  Nuclear Energy and Quantum Enginneering Chair Professor at KAIST, Member of presidential transition committee, Education Science branch "The solution to the world's energy crisis is nuclear power generation" The chairman of Microsoft and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates has shown keen interest in lowering the energy cost of the world and finding the solution to global warming. He has invested 40 billion won in 2008 in developing the next generation nuclear technology. He discovered Korea’s outstanding nuclear technology and flew in to meet the man behind it all: Chang Soonheung, professor at KAIST. Although nuclear energy might appear unrelated to IT, it is in fact very important. Cars, internet and other factors we now consider crucial to everyday life runs on electricity, and according to Professor Chang, electricity has become the standard that decides the quality of life for the nation. Prof. Chang says "the supply of cheap and stable supply of electricity is crucial for energy-intensive IT to advance." The significance of nuclear energy will be revealed to the public at TEDxSinchon’s 7th event, "Cabinet of Curiosities".
