About this event
The aim of TEDxNagyerdő is to be the part of the change we would like to see in the World, especially in Hungary, in our region. We believe that "ideas worth spreading" coming from actors of our neighbourhood help to trust in the change and to build positive thinking and creative communities.

She finished her school in Debrecen. After studying philosophy she made a big turn and created a jewel manufacture. Krisztina Szili
She was born in Budapest but has choosen Debrecen as home 19 years ago. She has 4 children from 4 to 19. She is working in a kindergarten and "opens doors" for children to find their talent. Her kindness, tales and creativity gives the best start for children in their life. -
Miklós Kovács
Miklós gradueted as economist. He took part in talent supporter program along his studies in grammar school and his life is a good example of the power of creative communities. One of the founder of a webpage for creative and active youth. -
John Graham
John is a Debrecen business owner, married to a Hungarian. He spent 6 years in Asia helping people and companies achieve global excellence; English language, communication skills, cultural awareness, diversity and inclusion. He formerly worked in the areas of engineering, quality management and lean manufacturing and led projects in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Korea and Japan. -
Luca Márkus
She is a 16 years old grammar school student. She has been selected as the voice of Debrecen this summer. Music, dance, poems, theathre is part of her life. To give is part of her life. -

Organizer of the first TEDxDanubia event in Hungary later became the communication and contant manager of the TEDxYouth@Budapest. Working in the content industry since 1996. Editor in chief of the HVG Extra Magazine with the topics of Business, Future and Psychology. -
Máté Rab
Graduated as economist. Working in the field of international relations and project management. Classify himself as business punk. One of the founder of a webpage for creative and active youth. -
Zsuzsanna Mangu
Studied at National Cheng University Taiwan. Taught English to Chinese people and Chineese to English people. She is a lover of Chinese culture. -
Terka Láposi
Ethnographer, teacher of drawing and lover of theatre. Teach children to play with puppets. -
Szilárd Strenner
