About this event
TEDxDaedeokValley is focusing on science and technology and people in Daedeok Valley, the Sillicon Valley of Korea. It's the biggest science cluster which has been leading Korea as one of the most advanced countries in S&T field.
By giving people in DV a chance to come together share their knowledge within the spirit of TED, we hope to bring out potential each and every one of the participants may have.

Young-sik Jung has been researching at KRICT(Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology) in the field of developing new medicine. -

Hyun-eui Lim is a researcher and professor at KIMM(Korean Institute for Machinery and Metals) in Daedeok Valley and now working on developing 'Sky Well' for those in desperate need of water. -
Sang-soo Kwak
Sang-soo Kwak is a scientist working on development of new sweet potato which can turn the land of impossible into a land full of possibility. -
You-jin Kim
You-jin Kim is a junior in high school who developed a whole new texting system out of a little daily life inconvenience.
