About this event

The theme for this year’s TEDxMarin event was “Designing Tomorrow,” and framed an evening that envisioned how human intention and ingenuity will develop a positive and productive future on Earth.

In line with our topic, we are presently canvassing a diverse array of pioneering speakers at the forefront of pivotal fields like technology, medicine, science, and energy. Each will offer their bold, thought-provoking and unique insight into emerging research and innovations within their field, and how they stand to fundamentally shape the course of things to come – both within the confines of their field and in relationship with society as a whole. Our intent is to enlighten and engage our audience by providing a glimpse into new ideas that will affect our collective lives and culture. At the same time, we expect these ideas to also carry significance in the present moment, and through these talks our audience will gain a framework of understanding to allow them to make better decisions in helping envision and design our immediate future.
