Taimane Lopes facilitates cognitive restructuring and emotional leteracy courses in the Oahu prisons. She discovered her passion for "true" education through her own learning experiences at Punahou School, and being around personal development seminars for most of her life. She considers her greatest responsibility to be the joy of raising an incredible young woman with the love of her life, at home in Hawaii.
Hunter Heaivilin is a permaculture designer, educator, and consultant based in Honolulu. He holds degrees in Tropical Agriforestry and Community Development, and currently works on projects throughout our island state and abroad in Haiti. He is the lead designer at his consultancy firm Pono Permaculture and teaches with The Green House in Pauoa, an urban model for sustainable living in Honolulu.
Joanne V Kapololu
Joanne is a local food and sustainability activist who, when faced with a life-threatening disease, healed herself through food. Her restaurant, if you have been lucky enough to dine there, serves up some of the tastiest, healthiest, locally sourced grindz on the island of Oahu, and is about to be featured on The Food Network.
